About
Little Brother
Glenn Briggs started his musical journey at the tender age of 15 playing honky tonks in Bandera TX with hall of famer Fiddlin' Phil Trimble. Later he partnered with his older brother Gary Briggs. The two brothers are natural songwriters and performers. The songs they write are a captivating mix of country and heavy rock. Their love of the music and the audience resonates from the stage.
Glenn and Gary grew up in Texas in a musically rich family. Their father Tommy was an accomplished guitar player, singer, songwriter. Ironically, Tommy also played with Phil Trimble years before Glenn did. Their mother, Nell, was a very talented pianist playing for the church and Sunday school. Their uncle, Jerry Naylor, was the lead vocalist for The Crickets after the untimely death of Buddy Holly. Jerry went on to have a very long and successful solo career.
